Belmont
Back into our usual Sunday routine with our grocery shop at Sainsbury's in the morning.
As we weren't sure what the weather would be like and whether we would get a walk down the bridle path we decided to stop at Broughty Ferry on the way home.
Down at the water the lifeboat was taking part in an exercise which seemed to involve several kayaks which we watched for a while.
We then had a walk round the town where I spotted this rather stylish barber's chair.Looks very American which sparked my interest. My mother's Aunt Jean and her twin brother Archie emigrated in the 1920's to Detroit to work in the Ford factory. After several years of this type of work they opened several barber shops to serve the local community and in fact one of their original barber's shops is still in operation and still in the family :-)
Our weather this evening is relatively quiet compared with the forecast for more southern areas so if you are in the areas likely to be affected please take care :-)
