Autumn gold

I love the autumn colours. After a morning of tea and books in the warmth of our cottage we roused ourselves to take a walk along the river.
Fortinghall is a hamlet in Scotland which lays claim to not only have the oldest living tree in Europe (possibly 5000 years old) but also claims to be the birth place of one Pontius Pilate. Debatable.

This tree isn't the old one, but it is a very nice orange one.
