Vive la Vie

UN Day

This day seems to come around fast as I remember when Olivia first had to dress in the colours of her Country when she was Dexter's age. They have also had to take in food from their country to share with their classmates this week.
In the past I have sent Olivia in with bread and butter pudding and sausage rolls but this year we tried pork pies (which I brought back from the UK last weekend especially for the occasion). Olivia said they went down well except with her as she didn't even want to take a polite bite (just like her Mum!) and Dexter took in some shortbread which I suspect went down really well.

At the time of taking this photo (in the school library this morning) I didn't notice they were holding hands and it wasn't until later in the evening when I was sitting in my hotel bedroom and looking through the photos on my camera that I realised. It made me ache for them.
I'm getting tired of travelling every weekend now and just want to spend some un rushed time with my little family.
