A walk in the park

We went for a late afternoon turn around the local nature reserve yesterday. I was hoping for some sunset action but it was most unimpressive, which is a shame because I nearly froze to death whilst waiting - and was also beseiged by various members of the local canine population! The alternative was this tree which was looking appealing in the late afternoon sunlight. This was followed by an evening out in Birmingham courtsesy of the Lancashire Hotpots which was very entertaining - though the price of drinks in the O2 made me wince rather - £9.60 for two pints :-O
