The 15th Century Church of St.George

The Church of St.George is attached to a 13th century manor house by it's North tower, named Hanham Court @ Hanham Abbots.
The house was given to the Monks @ Keynsham after the dissolution of the Monasteries by Henry the Vlll who then in 1360,built the Church for their own use.But was allowed to be used by the parishioners every other Sunday as part of the Parish of Oldland
The estate also contains a 15th century Tithe Barn built of Pennant stone.
