A 3D Village Experience

Inspired by HClaireB and influenced by the really poor weather, I am blipping a book today.
This is "A Village Lost and Found" by Brian May (the Queen guitarist) and Elena Vidal. It is a collection of stereo photographs and shows life in an English village (Hinton Waldrist) in the 1850's.
The book comes with the viewer (pictured) which helps you get in the correct position to focus on the images and then suddenly, as if by magic, the two photographs combine in your brain and you feel you could reach your hand into the image and touch the people, the animals, the countryside, as it is all in 3D.
Not everyone can see the 3D and I get very excited when I show the book to people and it "works" for them. They look at the image saying..."No...no...sorry,it's not working...hold on......THAT'S AMAZING!" and my day is complete!
By the way, yesterday's house was not for us. The search continues!
