Shelter

We haven't had any ducks for a while. These guys were heading into a large culvert, seeking shelter from the strong winds and heavy showers.

Freespiral's entry this morning reminded me to make Blips whilst the sun shone, which it did for maybe 5% of the daylight hours. Glorious winds, not too cold, interesting progress along at the development site. Last week's path and breakwater extended to within a few feet of the burn and a lot of new concrete laid. Much of it was crazed, that can't be good surely?

I have today deleted 6,500 images from the desktop. Posting this is my 'reward' for sticking at such a tedious task. Catching up with you all will be my reward for decanting scanned images from the laptop. Maybe tomorrow? Technology can just take so long sometimes.

I'm thinking about those ducks, sheltering from the wind, the rising water will chase them out at some point. I guess that they will have the measure of it. Wishing the same for all you southern Blippers in the path of tonight's storm.
