Höst means harvest

Not much time for blipping today. This shows part of the harvest from last weekend.

The entry title was inspired by us pondering the actual meaning of the Swedish word for autumn: höst. A quick look in our ethymological wordbook showed that our conclusions were right - höst has the same origin and original meaning as the English word harvest.
