A lazy view towards the Outeniquas : Cradock peak is visible, while George peak is shrouded in a veil.
After a veld fire a few years ago, the immediate front is covering itself with fynbos. Prior there used to be a pine forest, but this had been cut down by the forestry department.
This is also the area where I live.
