An old friend

It doesn't look like much but he's a great big tortoise who lives in the neighborhood. We haven't seen him for almost a year so it was a great surprise to meet him on the road as we drove home today. Amazingly enough he headed down the main road then turned right and went up the hill towards the spot we last saw him. I guess he knows his way around here pretty well.

He must weigh well over 100lbs, certainly too much to even consider picking up.
