Poo ket

Work regional meeting in Thailand. Tore myself away from the laptop long enough to enjoy the sunset. And then gorge on nice Thai food at a beachside restaurant.

One thing shattered our enjoyment of the peaceful low key atmosphere: deafening fireworks being let off down the beach, not to celebrate any event but because they are being sold by hawkers around the dinner tables and some people actually think it's appropriate to buy them. I find this strange.
