Hellboy II

Five years is along time to wait for a sequel but due to popular demand Campbell decided it was time to revisit his 2008 appearance as Hellboy at a Halloween party last night. He's a lot bigger than last time and still not quite ugly enough* but he really did look the part.

It took a while to paint him red this time and his tail had to be a proper grown up tail made from scratch not a teenie baby devil one from the joke shop. And of course those horns had to be once again well and truly stuck to his head with wood glue but it was worth all the effort as it does kind of feel that this is how he should look all the time.

When we pointed this out to him, he said he didn't think he'd go for permanently being red coloured and the tail would be a bit of a hassle but he does fancy growing some mutton chops and a goatee when he's older. Maybe we'll see the third part of the trilogy in a few years time.

* I know but even a demon's mother is allowed to think's he's beautiful!
