Winter Time View

Had to wait in the chilly breeze and rain for the bus this morning and as I looked to the wall for some shelter I saw this little lady all red and summery.

Scientific name: Coccinellidae - ladybirds are considered lucky in many cultures and often have nursery rhymes or children's stories named after them. I've called this one Tas after someone I met last year.

So I thought since she had a name and was out there in the wind and rain maybe I'd better find some adventures for her to enjoy. In the first one I imagine she's out looking for her family and got stuck on the wrong side of the wall - all the lovely plants with their insects are on the other side, but she can't quite get there without some help from her friends.

Anyway I'm off to write some ideas about this now.
