Lobster vs. Mexican Food

For Thai people, a trip to the beach wouldn't be complete without a good portion of seafood. At this restaurant, you choose your crustacean, weigh it, and then they cook it up on a grill right in front of you.

As tempting as this was, a group of us passed by a Mexican food restaurant on our walk back from the beach and decided to call that dinner instead of lobster.

I was too busy taking the picture and trying to not run into other people walking the market with me to notice how much the lobster was going for. Could it have been 1000 baht for one kilo?
