z'Basel isch Herbschtmäss

What a beautiful day for a kick start of Basler Autumn Fair known as "Herbstmäss". It's Switzerland's largest and oldest fair taking place for the 543rd time!

At the first chime of the church bells on Münsterplatz at 12:00 o'clock, all the rides were opened and for the next 15 minutes all the rides were for free. Our girls managed to ride twice, but you had to be fast at this. Sort of a Herbstmäss tradition.
