Gedachtnis-Kirche

Our first day in Berlin, our 4th and last capital on this holiday.

My boy and me once made a pact. To try and visited every capital we come across. We now visited six together.

We walked through the city in our own tour around the highlights. My personal guide told me a lot about the buildings.
This church was one of my favorite buildings in Berlin. It had been partly destroyed during the second World War. Now it is a memorial, with a new, modern church build next to it.
