Cardboard Boat Race!

It was fun and games with cardboard boats in the freezing Wanaka Lake this morning! The boats didn't fair too well and disintegrated before hitting the marker but the young participants looked like they were having a lot of fun. The boats were all made from cardboard boxes and were a clever collection of creations. I went to see an exhibition of prints and projected images from the Wanaka camera club this morning and an art one this afternoon at Albert town . We have snow low down and it's been freezing! nice and snug tonight by the fire.
