Ever decreasing circles

Another day of karma showing itself and proving that doing selfless acts bring more happiness.

Whilst out shopping today, free balloons were being given out in the high street. Mr S is not a fan of balloons so when our youngest asked if she could have one of them, he said that she was too old for them. She didn't moan, or complain. I knew she was sad but she accepted his decision. A couple of minutes later, a balloon on a stick goes floating past us. She looks, smiles, he nods and she goes running after it. Big smile on her face, she's so happy. She holds it for no longer than 10 seconds when she says it's not her balloon and it belongs to a little boy. She had seen a toddler receive a balloon, just before she asked, and when she has turned to show me the balloon, she has seen the little boy's balloon is missing. So she asks if she could run back and give it to him. When the little boy and his family said thank you, the smile on her face was even bigger than when she caught the balloon. A short while later and after a couple of shop visits, we literally walked out of a shop as a balloon blew into her hands. We looked around for a child with a sad face or someone to run up to us, waited a few minutes more and still no-one. And I swear, out of nowhere, another different coloured balloon appeared out of nowhere and fell on our eldest daughters head.

So today karma showed my girls that if they do the right thing and think of others, they will always be looked after and nice things will happen to them and their loved ones.

But what it showed me was I have 2 amazing girls who don't ask for much but deserve the whole world. I'm so proud of them.
