'We are what we do.'

Time...

Tomorrow is that day when we get what we so often wish for: an extra hour. Unfortunately it is perhaps not when we really want it and is so easily/ quickly dismissed. However that hour has got me thinking about time today whilst making the most of some time to continue with redecorating. At times I am quite envious of my father and his artistic skills - he is in a time of his life where he is able to utilise this amazing talent and spend hours at a time being lost in his element bringing perfection to his creations - total absorption. It is during times like that that you can really learn about yourself as a person, fine tuning, perhaps recreating and most importantly allowing that inner confidence and contented ness to grow. Time. I am lucky in that over the next few days I will have some time to reflect on how the academic year has started, time to catch up on jobs both at school and at home, time for an adventure or two and time to recharge, time to learn and explore. That time has been greatly missed since the summer holidays as the age old work/life battle begins when term time starts! How I wish I had an extra hour or two in the day! This is also a time when I am learning to trust again. A time learning to believe again. A time to have faith in those around me. A time to accept and move on. A time to ask myself 'What am I waiting for?' A time to enjoy and appreciate the journeys we take in life. A time to be proud of all I have achieved. A time to make a difference. A time to take the time needed and a time to give the time needed. I wonder how this extra hour will be used around the UK as the British Summer Time comes to an end for another year and hope that it will be used to: - Show how much you love or care about someone. - daydream (or eve dream). -be in your element and completely absorbed - be with loved ones - Learn - sing, dance, smile and laugh -know that you are worth it - Be content however that looks, feels or sounds like - make a difference (great or small) - heal - recharge - reflect The list could go on!
