New Snow at porters

New snow on the ski area - back to winter after a week of nor west blasts. Had a great day working on the Schools race, I stood in a wee ice pit and recorded the bib numbers of skiers who missed gates, fell or needed a re-run - great job as you can see the whole course, and get to holler congratulations to all the kids as they finish - a change from the classroom for all of us. Smiles all round.

I had to crop a bit of the sky to balance this photo - I was at the top of the course and was balancing my camera with two clipboards, a pair of poles and some kid's jacket.. so kind of didn't get the composition right. Also my camera is being naughty so doesn't want to auto focus in P mode, not sure why but maybe it needs a clean as I notice a few spots on my photos since this snowy day.
