Whale Watching in Eyjafjordur

Returning to Akureyri in Northern Iceland from a whale watching trip in the serene Eyjafjordur. All day the light had been silvery and soft with low cloud and occasional snow flurries, but late on there was a small break in the cloud and the sea took up bold patterns in the wake of the boat, and the softest blues start to emerge in the pearly greys.
