Cockatiel to the rescue

Thank heaven for pets on a hectic day like this! In addition to my normal afternoon/evening shift, I'd been asked to come into work for a shorter morning shift as well because of a shortness of staff due to illness. There was just enough time between the two shits for a journey home for some lunch and catch the bus back. The time that I was waiting for my pizza to cook was also my only chance to get a blip by taking a few quick shots of my cockatiel and budgie. My cockatiel Mieke was the more cooperative of the two this time.

I was completely exhausted when I got home around 9 pm and was finally able to sit down for longer than the half hour I'd had at lunch time.
