Nice start with semi blue skies, but clouded over in the afternoon, and now throwing it down..

Worked on A's tractor for a while, got the old brake rod out, and removed the linkage arm. Cleaned it all up, and assembled to check all was OK in the shed, and then reassembled on tractor. I had to drill out the grub screw, and then cut a new thread for a replacement bolt. Then put the new brake shoes in, and after thoroughly cleaning the brake adjuster, fitted the new brake drum. It all went together quite quickly, and is now waiting for the wheel. It will need a bit of final adjustment once the new shoes have bedded in.

Once I get the wheel back on, I can do the other side!!..

Halloween disco in the hall tonight, so have been down this afternoon helping C set up the PA system.. A quick shower now, and we'll be off..
