Caravan

Don't judge me (like my work colleagues the other day)...... Every October half term, we go on 'The Sun' readers £9.50 holiday offer. It actually ends up being £75 by the time we've paid for all the extra's but that's a bargain for three nights away at half term. We do Scarborough and the South Lakes on alternate years. I have major nostalgia about caravans. My nan had a caravan in Clacton and all of my summer holidays for a good 10 years were spent there, including the hot summer of 1976. Nan and I would go down on the coach, which took all day, and involved a stop at Bedford and me throwing up in a plastic bag at some point due to travel sickness. The holiday involved lots of swimming, chips and amusement arcades when it was just me and Nan. We'd be joined by my mum and dad and aunty Bet and uncle Rob too. Everyone should experience proper British seaside holidays like this. Very very happy days x
