My Prolific Walnut Tree

I thought I'd post a photograph of my walnut tree whilst it still has leaves, before the high winds and storms that are apparently forecast. It is about 35 years old and in 2011 it yielded about 200 lbs of walnuts, 2012 a few and this year about 100 lbs so far with a few more to gather after the gales! We planted three trees all those years ago but the other two are only just starting to yield any nuts - the other two I have are courtesy of the squirrel population. I have to pull young trees up during the year otherwise I'd have a dense forest by now!
