Watching

The kitchen has been a hive of activity this afternoon with Tony converting the fruits of the allotment into chutney, ketchup, pies and tarts. My contribution was to use the last of the tomatoes to make soup for the freezer.

I took a walk up to Lady Bs this morning to retrieve my postcards which were a mini venture which didn't work unfortunately. Never mind, I have several other projects on the go and my 'Fourth Year of Blips' arrived in the post this morning so that's a plus. I've sent my remaining postcards to a friend who will turn them into greetings cards and sell them for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust which can only be a result too!

I bought some duck food and went via Coppice Pond on the way home but only the Canada Geese and the gulls were interested in eating. This duck slept through the racket of the gulls and the honking of the geese, and only batted an eyelid when I got down on his level to take this blip.
