Joe's cake

Today I made Joe's birthday cake - he wanted coffee and walnut, so thought I'd have a go at making myself. Not attempted this for a good few years usually get one made to order at a local bakers but last time felt they couldn't really be bothered. even though it was £45, so I won't be going back.
