Around the village

These are some photos I took around the village this morning :-) It was a bit grey and pretty windy too, but the sun is peeking through from time to time now! I particularly liked the owl planter with fuschias growing out of his head!

Not doing a lot today apart from cooking and washing! The paint smell was awful still this morning, so we're giving it time to clear before doing any more! Also no-one has been to buy Polyfilla - Paul did offer but hubby thought it might be a bit heavy for him to carry for a mile. He is at least feeling more awake today - has been feeling pretty dreadful for weeks on end, partly the weather I think, which is so changeable. We're keeping a good eye on the developments in the weather because of the threat of this very bad (for our country) storm that's forecast for Sunday night/Monday. They don't seem too sure still about where the worst of it will be, though it's likely to be the south. At least it shouldn't hang around too long with the strength of the winds that are forecast!
