In need of support

Everyone seems to end up in this position at some point in their mature years: applying for something like their own job as their workplace is reorganised.

So this Saturday is not so super as I try to compose a sensible supporting statement, striking the right balance between being confident, and blasting that blooming trumpet.

But the witch hazel just outside to my right is in its most gloriously glowing autumnal colours, so there is some compensation as I don't often spend this long in its presence.
