So today, fellow photographer Heather and I embarked on the 126 family photo shoots and we even had time for a leisurely lunch in between.

That experience of photographing grade schoolers. That connection you find with a child when you get down to their level, look into their eyes, break down the little fortresses that they've built in their virtual kingdoms to find their smiles. It's a privilege. And it's truly magic.
