Another thing of purpose!

Today started wet and windy, there was a brief interlude of dry and sunny before torrential rain returned. The forecast for gales over the weekend had me racking my brain as how to get the last of the apples ( those out of reach even from the step ladders) before they became "windfalls". The answer is above ! made from a broom handle, a wire coat hanger, a felt tack and some tape. Ripe apples sat in the tines lifted and twisted then lowered to hand job done, let it blow! I had intended to shoot this in " DOF" challenge theme, but I liked the way it made the bonnet of my 4x4 look like a (I think) muscle car!
