Saarijärvi

We visited my wife's friend and her baby boy. Ahti fell asleep during the bus ride so I pushed him around in a pushchair until he woke up. We passed this small lake. It looked like there was ice at the furthest bay. I threw a rock and noticed it actually was slushy ice. Wonder how it'spossible ice still remains. It was below freezing at the end of last week and at the beginning of this week but it's been a couple of grades above zero for a few days already. Yesterday it was + 10 and it's been raining too.

Later I was supposed to meet one lad who had found one of my discs at the Peikkometsä disc golf course. Something else came up for him and he wasn't able to show up. While waiting if he'd answer my call or call me back I played most tracks of the course. I did better than usually. It was already getting dark and I would've had to leave soon when I came to a track with a water obstacle. I failed with my backhand drive and one of my best drivers hit the water.

The water was a bit too deep to go into wearing long underwear and the water was freaking cold. I considered giving up. But then I removed underwear and walked on the muddy water. I found FOUR discs, the last of them the one I had just lost. Only one of other discs has the owner's name and phone number so the other two are mine. Quite well for a failed throw:)
