Friday....starring Tuffy

Since many of you commented on the Tufted Titmouse I posted on Flickr yesterday, I thought I'd give you one today on Blip. These are abundant birds in our yard all year so it is always easy to get photos of them. Like chickadees, they are extremely curious and gregarious little birds - always the first to check out a new feeder or water source. And with those big, button eyes, they are pretty irresistible. We had a nesting pair this summer who raised a large brood (at least six, probably a few more) so it is now almost impossible to look out and NOT see a titmouse. Not that I am complaining.

Hubs is off today so we are doing some fall work in the yard. He's repairing some of the paver stones on our patio and I'm continuing with some garden clean up and mulching. Took a couple of other pics which are posted on Flickr:
