Dock Cranes, Salford Quays

Due to be demolished this weekend after plans to re-locate them fell through. Apparently many people growing up around Salford Quays have no idea about the Industrial heritage of Salford Docks at the top end of the Manchester Ship Canal.

These cranes are/were the last remnants of how the docks looked before redevelopment.
