Peña Cabarga

Esa montaña de ahí enfrente es Peña Cabarga. El pueblo donde yo vivo (El Astillero) está justo a sus pies. En la cima se puede ver un repetidor de televisión. Tiene una altitud máxima de 569 metros. Ya los romanos estuvieron explotándola para obtener su hierro. Es el mejor mirador para ver Santander y su bahía. La ría que veis da entrada a los barcos a los astilleros que dan nombre al pueblo.

That mountain over there is Peña Cabarga. The town where I live (El Astillero) is right at its feet. At the top you can see a TV booster. It has a maximum altitude of 569 meters. The Romans were exploiting it to get its iron 2000 years ago. It´s the best vantage point to see Santander and its bay. The estuary you can see is the entrance for the ships to the shipyards that give their name to the town.
