His first day leaving for 'Big' school, as opposed to the creche (which is so well-staffed by caring young women it's more like a second home). But he wasn't fazed, and when we picked him up later he seemed fine with it. Perhaps the enormity hasn't hit him. Give him another 45 years or so.
