Helllo clouds,hello sky

Lots of beautiful clouds today.
I'm reminded of Geoffrey Willans' Nigel Molesworth books. They're a real period piece now, set in an English boys' boarding school in the 1950s.
I read them in the 60s, when the world they reflected was about to disappear forever, and was delighted to find the stories re-issued as a collected volume a few years ago. The humour still makes me smile, Nigel Molesworth's witty observations are still brilliant, but today's photo reminds me of one of the supporting characters, little Basil Fotherington-Thomas.
Poor little Fotherington-Thomas was an innocent foil to the worldly Molesworth, skipping around the school with his happy refrain of " Hello clouds, hello sky ".
Simple pleasures :)
