Woodpile

We had a nice pile of logs dropped off to our garden today, ready for our lovely woodstove. I'm sure the weather has got warmer every day since we had it delivered, but it will have to get colder again eventually! I had to take Titchy Cat to the vet today, as she has been sneezing and coughing over the last couple of days. As I walked in, a farmer walked out with a lamb that he was holding by its feet... he peered into my cat box and said "ahhh, a cat", and chuckled. I could see he thought I was ridiculous for bringing such a creature to a vet. I looked at his lamb and said "is your sheep ok?" wherein he informed me it was a goat. I don't think we'll stay in touch.
