Stornoway Watermill

A day of intermittent very heavy rain, with the result that the streams are in speight and spectacularly white with rapids. I took a quick walk up to the re-built Stornoway Watermill, which is on the other side of the gold course from the campus. It was filled with water and turning happily - a great example of simple tried-and-tested technology.
