Expecting Visitors

Tess's brother and his family are paying us a visit tomorrow so, as you can see, we've been busy in the kitchen this afternoon. I baked some tomato, olive and garlic bread while Tess cooked an apple cake.

The butternut squash and mushroom lasagne was a joint effort (it was my fault that corner got a little "over-caramelised"!) It was going to be part of tomorrow night's menu but Gary phoned to suggest we should all go out for a curry, so Tess & I thought we'd have it tonight instead.

Much sunnier and drier on the golf course this morning than Tuesday, though the scores weren't any better.
