Near to flooding!

Started the day at the coast avoiding the constant rain that seems to be covering the lakes - and success! It was sunny and pleasant. After lunch and the tide coming in, we relocated to Lanthwaite woods near Crummock, where the rains of the last few days has swollen the river considerably - this is just a meander in what is usually a little stream!

At the end of Crummock, it wasn't even possible to reach the wooden footbridges!

After we got home, I had a visit by the lovely Draco and her fella, who dropped in for a cuppa.
