Life's tangled skein

Dalgety Bay

It rather looks as if my work is going to be taking me away from Dalgety Bay, which is something of a shame. Even thoguh the inside of one office is pretty much like any other, it is nice to get out for a lunchtime run and see the water.

This isn't lunchtime; it's in the golden hour after sunrise this morning. The little headland on the left is Downing Point, with its pillar indicating that it's the landing point of an undersea cable. A tug sails down the Forth to meet up with a tanker coming upstream, and Edinbugh and the Pentlands can be seen on the far bank of the river.

A pretty place, I'll miss it.
