Clay Cliffs Omaramara

The sun was sinking when we drove past and (between clouds) gave a wonderful glow to these cliffs. They are naturally formed and quite large especially if you walk amongst them.

At Omaramara I gathered my courage and asked a stranger if I could photograph him with the Blip camera, by the local icon the Wrinkly Ram (a wrinkly limestone carving) . Turned out he was a keen photographer and looking for a group to join - told him about Blip and he found it on his phone. He was also considering our local camera club ... Hard to stop talking with a stranger like that.
