The Plantings
Very blustery meantime. After breakfast walked up to the plantings and ventured inside for an investigation. Very boggy after recent rain, wind fairly stripping off the leaves. A handful of fieldfares chacking, a Robin singing its heart out. A solitary dunnock piping, a wren scolding me, a blackbird foraging. After a good year the blackberries have been a real drop. All is very autumnal.
