Day tripper

We went for at day trip to Sofiero. which is the former swedish kings old summer resident, now an open park for public.

Former king Gustaf spent a lot of time cultivating his great interest in rhododendrons. A long ravine leading from the castle down to the sea is lined with huge bushes of different rhododendron types.

It's a lovely place to visit although they were a little too far gone in their blooming now.
