The window in the rock

A short walk around the hotel complex today. We are situated at the bottom of a tall cliff, surrounded by banana plantations. Today we watched the Atlantic Ocean crashing against the rocks. The lava, from the island's seven active volcanoes, has pooled and puddled, leaving spectacular rock formations. The waves were crashing amazingly ferociously against the rocks. The poolside restaurant overlooks the cliffs and you can hear the waves whilst swimming in the pool. Bliss! :-)
