A Bud Preserved

Such a pretty rosebud. I have now dried it so can enjoy it for longer.I usually dry a few garden flowers every year and have them in a vase on my kitchen windowsill over the winter months.
Well, after a stormy wet night it turned out a lovely afternoon and so mild for October. Such strange weather we are having just now. I wish we could somehow divert the clouds and send them over to fight the bush fires in Australia. they are in such desperate need for rain and we have too much.
Very disjointed blip I know, sorry, having a bitty, busy week.
