A Beautiful Day

As mentioned yesterday, the cool nights continue, and the days are gorgeous. Today was no exception with a stunning blue sky and a temperature of 80 degrees Fahrentheit (~27 degrees Celsius). I snuck out during lunch time to enjoy the fine weather and blip something.

I like the shot because the gorgeous yellow flowers and brilliant blue sky reflect the day. I was in high spirits not just because of the weather but also because I am taking a few days off and Monday is a national holiday . It will be a nice break from work and will provide more quality time with the family. Of course this holiday weekend also indicates the official end of summer. Bummer! On a side note, I will be off the blip grid and will catch up on Monday.

Finally, we achieved another major milestone today. The littlest TMG went to school for the first time ever! It was a major accomplishment for him (and us). Of course, when I left, he was kicking and screaming on the floor. Very nice! Fortunately, I think that it was a special show for Mom and Dad and he promptly calmed down after we departed. All I can say is "Good job little man, I am proud of you." Of course the elder TMG took it all in stride and was happy to be back with his friends. The Mrs is even more excited because she now has alone time during the week.
