Snails pace..

This morning after the most torrential downpour this little fellow was sliding along my kitchen window.. I was washing up the breakfast dishes when i spotted him, so i quickly dried my hands and rushed to get my camera before he reached wherever he was trying to reach!

I knew this was going to be my Blip for today so had no reason to take my camera with me when i went out a lunching! Oh and when i say lunch i mean a white wine spritzer and a diet coke..

When i returned home i was going to go walking but after last nights winds and today's rain the garden was practically knee deep in fallen leaves.. I set about raking and sucking and shredding with the garden vac i was wearing flip flops which wasn't very wise and i don't know how it happened but i felt something crack under my foot and felt something very slimey... I'd crushed a snail!
