Once more with feeling
I have blipped this tree before, most recently only a couple of weeks ago. It's so irresistibly photogenic I just can't resist blipping it again though; the sky today was quite different from last time and really lent itself to another mono experiment. This is my seventh mono blip in a month -- it's getting to be a habit, encouraged by Earthdreamer. It certainly is true that if you think in terms of mono when taking the photo, you start to develop a feeling for which compositions/subjects will work. And when you're short of blip mojo, the same subject in different conditions is one way of dealing with it.
I did have an alternative blip, but the votes (all two of them) went unanimously to this one.
